Gardner ends up without a job and homeless. The film shows him struggling to become a stockbroker despite his unfortunate circumstances.

This film is about the lives and activities of the debate team of the Wiley College. The idea about it was based on American legacy. Melvin Tolson, encouraged his students to form a debate team and he as the coach of the all African American debate team was determined to improve his team such that it will be able measure up and be considered equal to the whites in the school.

5. 12 Years a Slave
12 Years a Slave is a motion picture starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Michael Fassbender, Paul Giamatti, Brad Pitt and Alfre Woodard. The film is directed by famous Hollywood personality Steve McQueen and was released in November of 2013. Chiwetel Ejiofor plays the role of Solomon Northrup, who was a historical figure that lived during the era of slavery.

6. The Tuskegee Airmen
The film is about the bravery of black pilots who flew their own planes out of Tuskegee Airfield during World War II. Their story is rarely told because they were just one squadron, but they were some of the most skilled and decorated pilots of the war.
